Accessibility
Most people who need this are older, or are exhausted adult children reading on a phone in a hospital corridor. That is the design target, not an edge case.
What we hold ourselves to
- Text starts at 18 pixels and that is a floor, not a default. Some readers are 80.
- Every colour pair is measured against WCAG 2.2 AA rather than assumed. Colour is never the only signal: every outcome states itself in words as well.
- Touch targets are at least 48 pixels, and 64 for anything primary.
- The whole check works by keyboard, with visible focus, and every field has a real label rather than a placeholder pretending to be one.
- Nothing important is delivered by motion, and animation respects a reduced motion setting.
- The plan prints. A lot of these families take paper into an appointment, so printing is a supported route rather than an accident.
